Inauguration of the Sughd Regional Clinical Children’s Hospital

On September 20, during his working visit to the cities and districts of Sughd Province, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, commissioned a new additional building of the Regional Clinical Children's Hospital in the city of Khujand.
The facility consists of seven floors and has a total area of 3,204 square meters.

The hospital is designed to accommodate and treat 200 patients at a time. New specialized departments and auxiliary rooms have been established, significantly improving the quality of services provided to patients.

The hospital's provision with modern medical equipment has created favorable conditions for medical specialists to perform their duties effectively.

In addition to treatment facilities, the new building provides suitable conditions for important scientific and educational activities. Special training rooms, as well as a conference and practical training hall, have been established there.

During his tour of the new building, the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, highly praised the quality of the construction work and emphasized that the state pays continuous attention to protecting the health of the population, particularly children and adolescents.

Protecting children's health is one of the important priorities of the state's social policy and provides a strong foundation for ensuring the well-being of the younger generation, improving the quality of life of the population, and building a healthy society.

The new building has commenced operations in accordance with modern healthcare requirements and provides appropriate facilities for receiving patients, conducting medical examinations, ensuring timely diagnosis, and providing the necessary treatment.

The creation of 120 jobs at the institution has also provided the necessary foundation for attracting healthcare specialists and creating favorable working conditions for medical personnel.

The inauguration of the new building of the Sughd Regional Clinical Children's Hospital represents another step toward implementing the constructive goals of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan aimed at developing healthcare infrastructure and improving the level and quality of medical services provided to the population.
