Upcoming Fee Changes to Credit and Debit Cards

The City of Cedar Park absorbs the cost of debit and credit card processing fees on behalf of our residents and businesses. These fees now total $1 million each year, which could otherwise be utilized on new City programs and services.

Beginning January 1, 2026, the City will implement a 3.5% fee for all debit and credit card transactions.
