Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC) will host the 38th Annual Auto Club Car Show on Sunday, May 3, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the NWTC Green Bay campus. Drawing thousands of auto enthusiasts from across the region, the event remains one of Wisconsin's largest and most anticipated car shows.
Organized by the NWTC Auto Club, the show brings together more than 1,000 cars and motorcycles each year, making it one of the largest events in the region. In 2024, the show reached a record 1,008 registered vehicles, with 2025 close behind at 976.
More than a showcase of automotive passion, the event also supports student success and community impact. All proceeds benefit student scholarships and service-learning projects, reinforcing NWTC's commitment to hands-on education and giving back.
A longstanding tradition continues this year as Auto Club students restore a vehicle to donate to a local nonprofit. Students are currently refurbishing a 2012 Toyota Highlander, which will be donated to Amanda's House, a local organization that provides a safe, supportive living environment for women in recovery and their children. The project provides students with real-world experience while supporting community needs.
"The Car Show is a great example of learning beyond the classroom," said Brent Westlund, NWTC Automotive Technology instructor. "Students take on real responsibility-from organizing the event to restoring a vehicle-and see how their work can make a direct impact in the community."
