Willkie’s San Francisco Office Enters Long-Term Lease in Marquee Space at Spear Tower, One Market Plaza

New York, NY, (June 30, 2026) - Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP announced today that it has signed a 12-year lease for its San Francisco office to relocate to Spear Tower, One Market Plaza. The move marks a significant milestone in the continued growth of Willkie's West Coast platform and underscores the firm's long-term commitment to California. Located in the heart of one of the world's leading centers of technology, innovation and capital, the new office will provide a premier environment for clients, lawyers and business professionals while supporting the continued expansion of the firm's presence in the region. Willkie first established an office in San Francisco in 2019.

The 12-year lease for approximately 35,000 square feet will commence on February 1, 2027. Spear Tower at One Market Plaza, owned by Elecor Properties, is one of San Francisco's premier office buildings, offering unobstructed views of the Bay, best-in-class amenities and a prime location in the city's central business district.

The relocation reflects the continued growth and strategic importance of the San Francisco office within Willkie's global platform. In addition to San Francisco, Willkie maintains offices in Palo Alto and Los Angeles, serving clients throughout California and beyond. The San Francisco office has continued to expand its private equity capabilities, including through the recent additions of partners Brian Raynor, Usman Arain and Daniel Lopez, and advises clients across a broad range of matters, including complex litigation and class actions, intellectual property, corporate transactions and insurance matters. The office works closely with colleagues across California, the United States and Europe to provide seamless service to clients around the world.
