Portion of First Street to Temporarily Close October 22

Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) today announced that North First Street between Cornhusker Highway and Nance Avenue will be closed from noon to 3 p.m. today, Wednesday, October 22, for utility work.
The recommended detour is Cornhusker Highway to 11th Street to Adams Street.
Travelers are encouraged to seek an alternate route and exercise caution around this closure. LTU appreciates the public's patience during this closure and reminds residents that project dates are subject to change due to weather and unforeseen circumstances.
