Public Notice Review of Request to Amend WDEQ Industrial Siting Permit for the Kemmerer Power Station Unit 1 Project; DEQ/ISC 24-03

Notice is hereby given that the Industrial Siting Division received an amendment request on July 1, 2025 from TerraPower, LLC (Permittee) regarding the Kemmerer Power Station Unit 1 in Lincoln County. The Permittee is requesting a change to Special Condition #19 of the above captioned permit, to allow the Permittee to obtain all licenses and permits as required by WYDOT and the Federal Highway Administration.

Pursuant to Chapter 1, Section 15 of the Industrial Development Information and Siting Rules and Regulations, the Administrator is providing public notice of the requested amendment to permit DEQ/ISC 24-03. It is the Council's intention to hear this amendment request during the third quarterly meeting at 9:00 am, on August 12, 2025. The meeting will be held at the Department of Workforce Services Building, Gannett Peak and Grand Teton rooms, 5221 Yellowstone Road, Cheyenne, Wyoming 82009. The public may review a copy of the amendment request and associated materials at the office of the WDEQ Industrial Siting Division in Cheyenne, Wyoming or online at:
