TOMBALL, TX - The U.S. Chamber of Commerce announced its endorsement today of candidate Jon Bonck for Texas' 38th Congressional District in Tomball, Texas, during a stop on the Chamber's Free Enterprise Express Opportunity Tour, a national six-week bus tour promoting free enterprise.
The U.S. Chamber endorses candidates for federal office who will support policies that drive innovation, grow the economy, and create opportunities for American businesses and workers.
"Jon Bonck has earned the U.S. Chamber's endorsement because of his commitment to defending our free enterprise system and being a strong advocate for pro-growth policies," said Neil Bradley, Executive Vice President and Chief Policy Officer at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. "His experience in the real estate industry shows that he understands the housing crisis and how excessive regulation restricts economic growth. As a new member of Congress, we're confident Jon will fight for our free-market system and defend policies that create opportunities for families, workers, and businesses in Texas' 38th district."
The national Free Enterprise Express Opportunity Tour is a six-week trip through 20 states and more than 50 events to make the case for free enterprise in communities across America and push back against growing support for government-directed economic policies that threaten economic freedom, opportunity, innovation, and growth.
The effort is part of a broader Chamber initiative, the New Fight for Free Enterprise, a multi-year effort to organize, mobilize, and make the case for free enterprise everywhere public opinion is shaped, public policy is made, and future generations learn what it takes for people and communities to thrive.
