Community Wide Recycling Day (EST)

Provides free recycling of household items open to everyone in the community.

Acceptable items include:

  • Household Recyclables - beverage containers (aluminum, glass, steel, and plastics #1-#2), cardboard, scrap metal, paper, gently-used shoes and clothing
  • Appliances and Electronics - TVs, IT equipment, computers, monitors (and components), appliances (refrigerators, humidifiers, A/C units), electronics, and accessories (wires, phones, servers, radios)
  • Miscellaneous - fluorescent lights (CFLs) 4' bulbs, used batteries (all types), household paints/stains/chemicals, mercury-containing devices, car/truck tires (no tractor tires), propane tanks, antifreeze/motor oil (less than 5 gallons per container)

Unacceptable items include: Styrofoam, plastic bags, plastics #3-#7, bricks, pavers, concrete blocks, tractor tires, general trash, wood waste
