The Historic Preservation Commission (HPC) of Douglas has received a Certificate of Appropriateness (COA) application where the applicant seeks to repair and restore the commercial building located at 108 Peterson Ave. N, parcel D012 129 (former …And Sew She Did location). This area is within the Downtown Douglas Historic District.
Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held to review the submitted COA by the HPC at City Hall, located at 302 S. Madison Ave., Douglas, GA 31533, at a rescheduled monthly meeting to be held on June 27, 2025, at 9:00 AM.
The application can be reviewed at the City of Douglas Community Development Department, Planning & Zoning Division, 302 S. Madison Ave., Douglas, GA 31533, between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (EST), Monday through Friday. Holiday hours may differ. Requests for review of the application may be made by June 26, 2025, by 5:00PM.
