CHICAGO - The Illinois Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT) will host "Inside DoIT: Technology, Procurement & Opportunity" on Wednesday, December 2, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Jesse White State of Illinois Building, 8th Floor Auditorium, 115 S. LaSalle Street in Chicago. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.
Current and prospective vendors will have the opportunity to hear directly from DoIT leadership about the agency's strategic direction, technology priorities, and upcoming initiatives. Presentations will cover cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, enterprise architecture, customer experience, and the state's procurement process.
"Supplier Day is about connecting businesses with the information and people they need to better understand opportunities within state government," said DoIT Chief of Supplier Diversity Aliceber Rivera-Alfaro. "By sharing our priorities and providing insight into our procurement processes, we aim to create greater transparency, encourage competition, and strengthen engagement with the supplier community."
The event will also feature networking opportunities and a question-and-answer session with DoIT leadership. Businesses of all sizes, including small, diverse, and emerging technology firms, are encouraged to attend.
