On Wednesday, November 6, 2024, Councilmember Chesley Muenchow formally submitted her resignation from her position on the City Council of Fair Oaks Ranch. In her resignation letter, Chesley cited personal reasons for her decision, with a particular focus on prioritizing the needs of her family.

Since her election in May 2021, Councilmember Muenchow has served with distinction for over three years. Throughout her tenure, she has represented the residents of Fair Oaks Ranch with a steadfast commitment to the city's priorities, emphasizing fiscal responsibility and transparency. Known for her strength, independence, and candor, Chesley has been a consistent advocate for the best interests of the community. Her service to the residents, the City Council, and the City of Fair Oaks Ranch has been exceptional.

While I accept her resignation with deep regret, I fully respect her decision to prioritize her family. It has been a privilege to serve alongside Councilmember Muenchow, whose presence and contributions will be sincerely missed.

On a personal note, I will greatly miss working alongside Chesley. In our discussions, she always challenged me to see things from a fresh perspective, consistently offering clear, direct insights and expressing any concerns with conviction.
