ITD crews begin paving improvements in Caldwell and Parma next week

CALDWELL - The Idaho Transportation Department will complete paving work next week on the Interstate 84 Business Loop in Caldwell and U.S. Highway 95 in Parma.

ITD will pave the I-84 Business Loop (Centennial Way) in Caldwell Monday, May 11, and Tuesday, May 12. between I-84 and West Chicago Street.

The road will remain open during paving, but drivers should expect lane closures and flagging on side streets. Access from West Freeport Street to the I-84 Business Loop will be closed during paving operations.

Crews will also pave a section of US-95 in Parma on Thursday, May 14, from Market Road to Parma Cemetery at milepost 47.8. Drivers should expect lane closures and flagging. Southbound US-95 will be closed from First Street to East Main Street. Cross streets between First Street and East Main Street will close as paving progresses through the area.

This work will improve the roadway surface, provide a smoother ride and extend the life of the highway.

Crews will work daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. No impacts are expected outside of working hours.
