Fort Lauderdale Seeks Resident Input on $88 Million Flood Recovery Plan

Fort Lauderdale is receiving $88 million in federal disaster recovery funding to help our community bounce back from the April 2023 floods and to be more resilient to future events. This money can be used to:

  • Repair damaged homes and buildings

  • Flood mitigation and/or elevation of existing structures

  • Restore critical infrastructure and facilities

  • Expand community services

  • Strengthen our city against future storms

We need your voice to decide how these funds should be used.
