Island Wide Lighting Project Update!

We are pleased to inform you about an important initiative underway to enhance the safety and convenience of our town. A new lighting project is being launched to install lights and ensure our major traffic areas are well-illuminated. This effort focuses on maximizing illumination in key areas within the town, so lighting will be installed on select portions of side streets.

To keep you informed, the locations for future lighting installations are available on the Town of Fort Myers Beach website, www.fortmyersbeachfl.gov. We encourage you to visit the site to see the planned areas and stay updated on the progress. The installation work is scheduled to be completed with a target date of November 2025, allowing us ample time to ensure everything is done to the highest standards.
