ON THE 'ROUND TABLE' AT THE EMBASSY OF UZBEKISTAN IN BEIJING

On December 11, 2025, a "round table" dedicated to current issues on the international and regional agenda was held at the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Beijing.

The event was attended by representatives of leading Chinese expert and analytical centers, the SCO Secretariat, and the media.

Uzbekistan's Ambassador to China, Farhod Arziev, informed the participants about the development of Uzbek-Chinese cooperation, as well as promising areas of interaction.

Special attention was paid to the multilateral track. The results of the September 2025 SCO Tianjin Summit were noted, including the proposals voiced at the summit meeting by the President of Uzbekistan aimed at developing practical cooperation within the Organization.

During the exchange of views, SCO Deputy Secretary-General Piao Yangfan informed about the steps being taken to implement the agreements reached at the previous meetings of the SCO Council of Heads of State in Tianjin and the SCO Council of Heads of Government in Moscow. In this context, the plans and priority tasks of the Kyrgyz side as the current SCO Chair were outlined.
