Glamour Women of the Year Season Starts

Glamour's Women of the Year season has officially begun, with award events and cover stories around the world spotlighting women who inspire and lead change.

In the US, the Glamour Women of the Year Awards took place at The Plaza Hotel in New York City. Hosted by Glamour Global Editorial Director and Editor-in-Chief Samantha Barry, the evening honored Demi Moore and Tyla as Global Women of the Year, along with US honorees Ms. Rachel, Rachel Zegler, Pat McGrath, and the women of the WNBA including Jonquel Jones, Nyara Sabally and Lexie Hull. The night featured performances from Alex Newell, Brass Queens, and Freestyle Love Supreme.

Glamour UK hosted its Women of the Year Awards at 180 Studios in London under the global theme of 'Sisterhood'. The evening, hosted by Vick Hope and Glamour UK's Head of Editorial Content, Kemi Alemoru, honored the global line-up of winners, alongside the girlband Sugababes, model Adwoa Aboah, footballer Hannah Hampton and The Dolls - a collective of trans women including Munroe Bergdorf, Maxine Heron, Taira, Munya, and more - presented by designer Conner Ives.
