MIT academics to speak on human performance and cyber resilience at CyberCon 2026

Three Melbourne Institute of Technology (MIT) academics: Associate Professor Raza Nowrozy, Professor Savitri Bevinakoppa and Dr Morshed Chowdhury will represent MIT at CyberCon 2026, Australia's largest annual gathering of cyber security professionals, leaders and innovators.

The trio will appear on a panel titled "Under pressure: How human performance shapes cyber security outcomes," examining how stress, fatigue and cognitive overload affect cybersecurity outcomes, and why human performance is a critical component of organisational cyber resilience.

The session will take place on 14 October 2026 in Melbourne, as part of CyberCon 2026, held 14 -16 October at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre under the theme "Empowered Together."

MIT congratulates Associate Professor Nowrozy, Professor Bevinakoppa and Dr Chowdhury on this recognition and looks forward to their contribution to the national conversation on cyber security.
