City of Titusville Expands Solid Waste Disposal Options for Residents

In direct response to citizen feedback, the City of Titusville Public Works Department has opened two new Solid Waste Drop-Off locations to provide residents with more convenient disposal options.

The newly established drop-off sites are located:

  • North Singleton Avenue, just north of the Public Works Fleet Management site
  • Intersection of Denise Drive and Sisson Road

These sites are available for residential use only and are not intended for commercial waste disposal. Residents can drop off household waste, recyclables, and cardboard at either location.

"We have listened to and responded to requests from our residents for additional waste drop-off locations," said Public Works Operations Director Sandra Reller. "Our team has delivered centrally located options for our residents, providing an additional point of service which will ultimately help maintain the cleanliness and beauty of Titusville," added Reller.

The new disposal sites are part of a monitored pilot program, and their long-term operation will depend on public participation and program effectiveness.

Items not accepted at these sites may be taken to the Titusville Transfer Station on State Road 405 or the Central Disposal Facility in Cocoa.
