On 3 February 2026, H.E. Mr. Vijavat Isarabhakdi, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, had a discussion with Congressman Warren Davidson (Republican-Ohio), a member of the U.S. House Financial Services Committee and the House Foreign Affairs Committee, during his visit to Washington, D.C. to promote cooperation against online scams.

Both sides discussed issues of common concern and exchanged views on preventing and combating online scams and scam centers in Southeast Asia, which is a shared priority for both Thailand and the U.S., as it has a significant impact on citizens of both countries and the region. They also expressed readiness to work together and exchanged views on ways to further strengthen cooperation in this regard.
