The agenda of this year's edition includes topical themes on transatlantic security, enhancing European defence cooperation, innovation and new technologies that impact the military, as well as adapting international cooperation instruments to new strategic realities.
As part of the conference, the Minister of National Defence will participate in plenary sessions and thematic meetings dedicated to cooperation within NATO and the European Union, as well as in bilateral meetings with counterparts and officials from allied and partner states, to discuss topics of common interest regarding regional security, strengthening the deterrence and defence posture on NATO's Eastern Flank, as well as continuing support for partners affected by the consequences of the war in Ukraine.
Participation in the Munich Security Conference reflects Romania's commitment to actively contribute to the international dialogue on security and to promote solutions based on cooperation, respect for international law and the strengthening of transatlantic relations.
