Mountain Metro seeks comments on spring Service Change

Mountain Metropolitan Transit (MMT) is proposing several service changes this spring to improve public transit. If approved, the changes will take effect on March 29, 2026.

Key Proposed Changes Include:

  • Route 3: Becomes zero-fare; weekday daytime frequency increases from 30 to 15 minutes.
  • Route 5: Weekend daytime frequency increases from 30 to 15 minutes.
  • Route 10: Weekend daytime frequency increases from 60 to 30 minutes; new Saturday evening service added at a 60-minute frequency.
  • Route 11: Weekend daytime frequency increases from 60 to 30 minutes.
  • Route 20: Will be eliminated with service needs met through expanded Routes 10 and 11 on weekends.
  • Route 25: Weekend daytime service increases from 30 to 15 minutes.
  • THE ZEB Downtown Shuttle: Slight weekday daytime frequency adjustment from 7 to 10 minutes.
  • Route 17: Two new stops added near Uintah St. and 17th St.
  • Route 33: Last trip ends at Dillon Mobility Hub for improved rider access.
  • Route 40: Moves to year-round operation when other routes are operating with extended weekday hours.

MMT encourages all riders and community members to review the proposed changes and share their input to help shape the future of transit in the Pikes Peak Region. Feedback can be submitted through an online survey. Those unable to access the survey may call Customer Service at 719-385-7433, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., for assistance. The deadline for comments is February 5, 2026.
