Colorado Springs, CO (May 27, 2026): David Weekley Homes, one of the nation's largest privately held home builders, will soon begin building homes on acreage homesites in Flying Horse North, a 1,500-acre master-planned golf course community in Colorado Springs.
The builder will offer only quick move-in homes. The first two homes available will be The Rubble, featuring 4,429 square feet of living space with four bedrooms, three full baths and one half bath, and The Sandbagger, featuring 5,691 square feet of living space with six bedrooms and five full baths. Homes will be sold by appointment only.
Located in the Black Forest region of northern Colorado Springs, Flying Horse North features an 18-hole championship golf course designed by golf course architect Phil Smith. David Weekley homeowners will have access to The Club at Flying Horse, which offers access to year-round events and social programs, private dining, golf practice facilities, two golf courses, spa services, and a European-style athletic club with indoor red clay tennis courts, outdoor pickleball and tennis courts, a heated lap pool, seasonal aquatic facilities, and a fitness center.
The community also features walking trails and provides access to Highway 83 and the Colorado Springs, Monument and Denver areas. Students within the community attend Academy District 20 and Lewis-Palmer School District 38.
