Illinois Power Agency Announces Official Certificates for Equity Eligible Persons (EEPs), Availability of EEP Resumes

The Illinois Power Agency (IPA) is excited to announce two major updates that strengthen access, visibility, and recognition for Equity Eligible Persons (EEPs) participating in Illinois' clean energy programs.

1. Official Certificates for EEPs

Beginning Monday, October 13, all newly approved EEPs will receive an official certificate of recognition as part of the standard application process. For those approved prior to this launch, certificates will be issued by the end of October 2025. These certificates serve as a formal record of EEP status, offering verifiable proof of eligibility that can be shared with employers, contractors, and program partners.

2. EEP Resumes Now Available on the External EEP Dashboard

EEP resumes are now available on the External EEP Dashboard, giving clean energy employers direct access to diverse, skilled candidates who are ready to contribute to Illinois' clean energy future.

Please note: not all EEPs are included-resumes are only published for individuals who chose to share them during their application process. In order to view this dashboard, you must be registered as a Clean Energy Company on our Energy Workforce Equity Portal. REGISTER HERE.

Making resumes accessible will help:

  • Clean Energy Companies identify and engage qualified candidates for clean energy projects.
  • EEPs gain greater visibility and showcase their abilities to potential employers.

If you have any questions regarding certificates or resumes, please contact [email protected].

Thank you for your continued commitment to advancing equity and opportunity in Illinois' clean energy economy.
