Convicted Felon Arrested Following January 25 Shooting On Linbar Drive

A convicted felon remains jailed this afternoon on $220,000 bond following his arrest yesterday for his alleged involvement in the January 25 shooting at a Linbar Drive gas station that wounded a man. Jacque Adams, 32, was identified over the course of the investigation, led by Non-Lethal Shooting Unit detectives, as one of the three suspects that began firing in the parking lot of the Mapco.

A 71-year-old man was shot in the face during gunfire while sitting in his vehicle. Detectives do not believe he was the intended target.

Adams was charged with aggravated assault - acting in concert, reckless endangerment, being a felon in possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon with intent to distribute.
