Joint Armed Forces Band Sings New Year's Carols to Deputy Minister of National Defence Thanasis Davakis

The Joint Armed Forces Band sang the New Year's carols to the Deputy Minister of National Defence Thanasis Davakisand the military leadership at the grounds of the Ministry of National Defence.

Addressing the members of the Joint Armed Forces Band, Mr. Davakis stated:

"I would like to thank you for your beautiful presence here today and the joyous message you brought for the New Year.

The Joint Armed Forces Band carries not only tunes and melodies, but also the ethos, discipline, and musical tradition of the Armed Forces, filling us with pride.

I wish everyone good health, strength, and a happy new year that will bring happiness to you and your families. May the new year find us united, true to our duty, and dedicated to the mission of protecting our country".

The Deputy Minister was accompanied by the Chief of Hellenic National Defence General Staff, General Dimitrios Choupis, the Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Georgios Kostidis, the Chief of Hellenic Navy General Staff, Vice Admiral Dimitrios-Eleftherios Kataras HN, and the Chief of Hellenic Air Force General Staff, Lieutenant General (HAF) Dimosthenis Grigoriadis.
