McGavock High School Student Arrested For Having Gun In Backpack
An 18-year-old McGavock High School student was arrested last night for having a handgun in his backpack while playing basketball in the gym after school.
Another student informed a school administrator a cell phone theft had allegedly taken place and Victor Littleton may be involved. The school administrator searched Littleton's backpack and located a firearm.
Officers responded to McGavock at 5 p.m.
Littleton stated the handgun did not belong to him and he did not know it was in his backpack. He was charged with bringing a firearm onto school property.
