Celebration of Initiation Mass, April 12

Members of the Marquette community will receive the sacraments of Christian initiation on Sunday, April 12, at 6 p.m. at the Church of the Gesu.

Rev. Nathaniel Romano, S.J., assistant director of campus ministry for liturgical programs, will preside.

Five students will receive baptism, confirmation and First Eucharist; five students will complete their initiation by receiving confirmation and First Eucharist; and three candidates will be received into full communion with the Catholic Church, also receiving confirmation and First Eucharist.

These candidates have spent the year growing in the Catholic Christian faith through the Order of Christian Initiation process, sponsored by Campus Ministry.

All members of the Marquette community are invited to attend the Mass and the reception immediately afterward in the lower church in support of these students.
