Thomaston Savings Bank Foundation Awards 93 Grants for Litchfield County

Thomaston Savings Bank awarded 93 grants totaling $196,405.39 during Phase II of its Foundation's Grant Cycle. Each phase is focused on a specific county and the towns within that county where the Bank has a physical presence. Grant applications were considered for nonprofit and government agencies addressing the needs of the communities in Litchfield County - Bethlehem, Harwinton, Plymouth/Terryville, Thomaston, Torrington, and Watertown/Oakville.

Established in 1997, the Thomaston Savings Bank Foundation is dedicated to annually distributing funds to local charitable organizations supporting religious, health, public safety, arts, and educational programs. Since its inception, the Foundation has proudly awarded over $11.5 million in grant funding. These funds are specifically allocated to benefit the citizens within our assessment area. The Bank's establishment of this foundation ensures that local charitable needs will continue to be met well into the future.
