Man arrested for November 2024 shooting at 515 Broadway
Damyen Lee Marshall Peterson, age 18, was arrested today for a shooting that occurred at 515 Broadway at 1:30 a.m. on November 1, 2024. In that case shots were fired as individuals were leaving an apartment complex. There is no information that anyone was injured in the shooting. Peterson was identified in February 2025 as the main suspect thanks to some joint efforts between EPD and SPD investigations. Eugene Police Investigations entered an 'attempt to locate' into the system at that time. Peterson was located by Springfield Police Department this morning and brought to EPD headquarters by EPD patrol, then lodged at Lane County Jail on charges that include two counts of Attempted Assault in the First Degree, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, and three counts Reckless Endangering.
