At City Colleges of Chicago, our goal is to create opportunities that allow students to be successful, and to build communities where they feel supported in reaching their goals.
Our annual update from Chancellor Juan Salgado-Creating Opportunity, Building Community: 2024 in Review-highlights the various ways our seven colleges created opportunities for students over the past year.
"In education and beyond, we often tell students to dream big. But dreaming big isn't always enough. We must also provide students with the support, resources, and opportunities to turn those dreams into reality," says Chancellor Salgado in his opening letter.
By investing in resources for our students, including no-cost programs and supports, and strengthening our partnerships with Chicago Public Schools, four-year transfer institutions, employers, and others, we were focused on delivering the opportunities students need to succeed in 2024 and beyond.
