Water Main Break at 110 Hendricks Isle

Update (Wednesday, August 13 at 9 a.m.):

The location of the leak has been confirmed to be on a 6-inch cast iron water main at 110 Hendricks Isle.

City crews are in the process of verifying which neighbors are impacted. Currently, it appears as if properties along the east side of Hendricks Isle are experiencing a water service interruption as they are connected to the damaged 6-inch water main. City crews are checking valves on properties along the west side of Hendricks Isle to verify that they are connected to the adjacent 8-inch water main.

The following critical activities must be completed before crews can excavate in the area to begin the emergency repair:

  • Emergency locates are being expedited to confirm the location of all nearby utility lines.
  • FPL needs to secure a power pole that is in the repair area.
  • A small tree in the repair area needs to be removed.

We thank our neighbors for their patience as we work to prepare the area for this emergency repair. We will provide another update once excavation begins.

Neighbors with questions or concerns may contact 954-828-8000.
