January 30, 2026 Albuquerque, NM - Chairwoman Barela responds to KOAT on Rep. Gabe Vasquez's continued anti-law enforcement rhetoric: "Sadly, Rep. Gabe Vasquez is showing all of us that he is incapable of defending the heroes in our law enforcement communities when they need it the most. He doesn't seem to have any issue with people harassing ICE officials or obstructing law enforcement operations, but he has quite a bit to say whenever criminal illegal aliens are apprehended and removed from our country. Gabe Vasquez should stand with ICE and our DHS Secretary, not Don Lemon and the violent agitators who storm churches." - Chairwoman Amy Barela ### |
