The ceremony marked the end of a training period dedicated to the capacity building of key military personnel within the FADM structure in essential areas such as Basic Life Support, Advanced Life Support and other military health capabilities.
The European Union Military Assistance Mission in Mozambique (EUMAM MOZ) monitored and supported the UEFISM team whenever necessary throughout the two weeks of training.
The support provided by EUMAM MOZ to the Portuguese Armed Forces military health personnel is part of the broader effort to build the capacity of the FADM, contributing to the consolidation of skills essential to the readiness, sustainment and operational effectiveness of Mozambican forces.
The initiative strengthens the ties of cooperation between European Union and Mozambique and highlights the shared commitment to supporting the development of military capabilities in key areas for the security, stability and protection of populations.
