In 2021, Sahar Taj faced an uncertain future in Afghanistan amid significant challenges brought by changes in administration. Life as she knew it had shifted, and her path forward seemed unclear. Yet, Sahar refused to let adversity define her destiny. With resilience and determination, she sought a way to rebuild her life and found hope through the ILO's Start and Improve Your Business (SIYB) Training of Trainers program.
The workshop was transformative for Sahar. She not only gained valuable skills but also discovered a new purpose: empowering other Afghan women to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams. As a certified business coach and independent SIYB trainer, she now dedicates her life to helping young women turn their ideas into successful businesses.
