Commission Awards Contracts for Southeast District Projects

SIKESTON - The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded contracts for the Southeast District during its regular meeting on June 3. Contracts awarded include the following:

• An $844,594 contract was awarded to Apex Paving Co., for pavement improvements on Route 84 from Route O to Route 412 in Dunklin County.
• A $789,457 contract was awarded to Fronabarger Concreters, Inc., for pavement improvements and American with Disabilities Act (ADA) sidewalk improvements on Route 61 at the intersection of Routes 61 and Y in Bloomsdale, Missouri in Ste. Genevieve County.
• A $3,366,393 contract was awarded to Penzel Construction Co., for bridge replacements in Perry County on the following routes:
  • Route K over Apple Creek near Biehle, Missouri, and;
  • Route C over Apple Creek near Altenburg, Missouri.
• A $1,097,925 contract was awarded to Apex Paving, Co., for pavement improvements on Route U from Route CC to Route 25 in Butler and Stoddard counties.
• An $842,697 contract was awarded to Apex Paving, Co., for pavement improvements on Route W from Route O to Business 60 near Poplar Bluff, Missouri in Butler County.
• A $3,656,382 contract was awarded to Apex Paving, Co., for pavement improvements along the following routes in Pemiscot County:
  • Route DD,
  • Route D, and;
  • Route J.
• A $469,203 contract was awarded to Robertson Contractors, Inc., for a bridge deck replacement on Route MM over Harviell Ditch in Butler County.
• A $4,460,000 contract was awarded to Blevins Asphalt Construction Company, Inc., for pavement improvements along the following routes:
  • Route B from Route 63 to the end of state maintenance in Shannon and Texas County,
  • Route V from Route F to Route 5 in Wright County, and;
  • Route A from Business 60 to Route K in Wright County.
• A $284,500 contract was awarded to Blevins Asphalt Construction Company, Inc., for pavement improvements on Route PP from Route C to the end of state maintenance in Wright County.
