Barrasso Praises Immediate Trump Action to Secure the Southern Border
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Senator John Barrasso (R-Wyo.), Senate Majority Whip, today released the following statement after President Trump issued executive orders to secure the Southern Border:
"President Trump is not wasting a second to make America safer and more secure. With these executive orders, the United States is ending the lawlessness at the Southern Border. We are securing the border against the cartels, murderers, drug dealers, and terrorists who have flooded into the country the last four years.
"I applaud President Trump for making the safety of our country a top priority. Senate Republicans will act quickly to make sure the Trump-Vance administration has the tools they need to carry out these executive actions."
