Orange County to Hold Community Meeting on New Public Housing Initiative

Orange County, Fla. - Orange County will hold a community meeting to discuss the proposed plans for a new housing initiative on Monday, October 5, 2026. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. at the Holden Heights Community Center.

During the meeting, Orange County staff will present details of the proposed housing initiative at the Developer Inn, located at 2500 33rd Street, a property Orange County is in the process of acquiring. The presentation will also include plans to establish a professionally managed, mixed-use housing community.

Orange County District 6 Commissioner Mike Scott will provide opening remarks at the beginning of the meeting.
