Flower Child, the popular fast-casual restaurant known for its health-forward menu, is coming to GSQ in Goodyear, adding one of the city's most requested dining concepts to its growing downtown.
Flower Child will open at GSQ as part of continued West Valley expansion. The restaurant, part of Fox Restaurant Concepts, is known for its healthy menu featuring customizable bowls, salads, wraps, and options supporting vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free lifestyles. Flower Child ranked as the fourth most requested restaurant in the city's recent retail survey.
"Flower Child is a great addition to GSQ and a strong reflection of what this downtown is becoming," said George Getz, Co-CEO of Globe Corporation. "We're continuing to bring in highly sought-after, quality concepts that align with what the community is asking for, while creating a vibrant, walkable destination."
The addition comes as the downtown district continues to take shape as a walkable destination, bringing together dining, retail, and community spaces in the heart of the city.
"Goodyear continues to evolve as a destination for dining, connection, and community," said Joe Pizzillo, Mayor of Goodyear. "The addition of Flower Child to GSQ reflects the type of highly requested, quality dining options our residents have consistently asked for."
GSQ is a public-private partnership between the city, Globe Corporation, and RED Development, working together to create a dynamic downtown core that serves both residents and visitors.
The businesses on the horizon for the district will join a growing mix of concepts already open in downtown Goodyear, including Kura Sushi, Trader Joe's, First Watch, Dave's Hot Chicken, High Tide Seafood, Over Easy, Bacchus Wine & Debauchery, Banner Health, and Avila University Arizona.
Additional tenants planned for the development include Paris Baguette, Zara Nail Bar, Handel's Ice Cream, Reformed Pilates, Berry Divine Acai Bowls, and Magdaleña, alongside previously announced concepts such as Black Rock Coffee Bar, Fogo de Chão, CAVA, California Fish Grill, and VEG (Veterinary Emergency Group).
Founded in Arizona, Flower Child has grown to more than 40 locations nationwide and is known for its bright, welcoming atmosphere and focus on fresh, feel-good food.
The Goodyear location is expected to open in 2026.
