Visit to Andorra on 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations

Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić Radman paid an official visit to the Principality of Andorra on Tuesday, 16 December 2025, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Croatia and the Principality of Andorra.

During the visit, Grlić Radman met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Principality of Andorra, Imma Tor Faus. On this occasion, the Agreement on Youth Mobility between the Republic of Croatia and the Principality of Andorra was signed, aimed at promoting youth exchanges through facilitated travel, temporary employment, and cultural cooperation.

As part of the official programme, Grlić Radman also held meetings with the Head of Government of the Principality of Andorra, Xavier Espot Zamora, the President of the Parliament, Carles Ensenyat Reig, and the Minister of Tourism and Trade, Jordi Torres Falcó. The discussions focused on further strengthening bilateral relations, political cooperation, and opportunities to deepen cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including youth mobility, tourism, digital development, and Andorra's process of rapprochement with the European Union.

As part of the commemoration of the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations, Grlić Radman also attended a ceremonial concert by Croatian pianist Goran Filipec, held in Andorra.

The visit reaffirmed the excellent and friendly relations between the Republic of Croatia and the Principality of Andorra, as well as their shared commitment to further enhancing these relations, in particular through continued efforts to foster closer cooperation between the European Union and Andorra.
