CDC's Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices to Meet June 25-26

ATLANTA, GA-JUNE 20, 2025-The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) will hold a meeting on Wednesday and Thursday, June 25-26, 2025, at CDC headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia.

The ACIP comprises leading medical and public health experts that advise the CDC on the safety, effectiveness, and clinical necessity of vaccines. On June 9, the Secretary of Health and Human Services, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., announced a clean sweep of ACIP to reestablish public confidence in vaccine science. The CDC removed the 17 sitting members of the ACIP committee and replaced them with eight new members.
