New impetus and international expertise for the BUTTING Advisory Board

With Heidrun Twesten and Tamara Weinert, BUTTING has welcomed two experienced individuals to its Advisory Board. Both bring extensive international experience, strategic leadership skills and proven expertise from a range of industries. Together with the other four members of the Advisory Board, they have been supporting the management team in key business decisions since September 2026.

At BUTTING, the Advisory Board stands for independent professional expertise, constructive dialogue and a long-term perspective. Since its establishment in 2003, it has continuously supported the company's development and provided important impetus for its strategic direction.

As early as the Advisory Board's first meeting, Hermann Butting set out his expectations of the body: "We need people with specialist expertise with whom we can discuss the company's important decisions. That is why we have appointed independent experts to the Advisory Board."

This approach continues to shape the work of the Advisory Board to this day. The focus is on open dialogue, careful reflection on business issues and shared responsibility for the future of BUTTING.

Heidrun Twesten: Expertise in capital markets, start-ups and transformation

Heidrun Twesten, who holds a degree in Business Administration and an MBA, is an entrepreneur and has been Managing Partner of Impacct GmbH since 2002. She has been active in the start-up ecosystem for many years and has supported numerous companies on their journey to listing on the stock exchange.

As a member of the executive board, she played a key role in establishing what is now a leading German investor relations agency. She also founded her own IR consultancy firm.

Today, Heidrun Twesten supports companies as an executive adviser and board member in capital market transactions and transformation processes. She is also a Certified Designing Your Life Coach (Stanford).

With her experience at the intersection of entrepreneurship, finance, communication and change processes, Heidrun Twesten brings an additional strategic perspective to the advisory board.

Tamara Weinert: Global leadership experience and international industry expertise

Tamara Weinert is an experienced leader with an international background in banking, the energy sector and stainless steel production. For more than a decade, she held senior positions at Outokumpu, one of the world's largest stainless steel manufacturers.

Most recently, as CEO and President, she was responsible for the Americas region and was a member of the Executive Leadership Team. Prior to that, her roles included CFO for Europe and Senior Vice President Commercial.

Her international career has given her a distinctly global perspective and a deep understanding of different markets, cultures and organisational structures.

Her extensive experience in the industry, her strategic leadership skills and her insight into global value chains are a significant asset to the work of the BUTTING Advisory Board.

Continuity and fresh impetus

With the expansion of the Advisory Board, BUTTING is focusing on combining continuity with fresh impetus.

To mark the 20th anniversary of the BUTTING Advisory Board in 2023, Hermann Butting paid particular tribute to the commitment and dedication of those involved: "Thank you very much for your loyalty and your commitment. Thank you very much for your dedication, openness and willingness to truly engage with the various issues and relationships with the other advisory board members, the family and our managing directors."

This attitude also forms the basis for our continued collaboration. With trust, confidence and a clear-eyed view of the challenges ahead, BUTTING looks forward to the next phase of our joint work on the Advisory Board.
