Stafford County Government will Operate Two-Hour Delay for Monday, February 23

Due to winter weather conditions impacting the region, Stafford County Government will operate on a two-hour delayed opening for Monday, February 23, 2026, with County offices opening at 10:00 a.m. The Regional Landfill and Belman Road Recycling Center will operate on a two-hour delay (opening at 8 AM).

Overnight low temperatures and gusty winds will limit the effectiveness of de-icing treatments, and some roadways and areas of the Government Center campus may remain icy, particularly during the morning hours. Crews continue treatment efforts as temperatures gradually rise.
