One-Way Traffic Control Next Week

Amador County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control next week on State Route 88 (SR-88) for maintenance and construction operations. Work is scheduled as follows:

State Route 88

• One-way traffic control from Carson Drive to Salt Springs Road/Lodge Road for drainage work on Monday, October 20, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
• One-way traffic control from Defender Grade Road to Cedar Heights Drive for drainage work beginning Thursday, October 23, 2025, through Friday, October 25, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
• One-way traffic control from Mace Drive to Inspiration Drive West/Vista Lane for tree work on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
• One-way traffic control from Inspiration Drive East/Holiday Lane to Sierra Pines Entrance for tree work on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
• One-way traffic control from Sierra Pines Entrance to the passing lane for tree work on Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
