On 10 April 2025, Mr. Narut Soontarodom, Consul General of Thailand in Siem Reap, led officials and staff of the Royal Thai Consulate-General in paying homage and joining in the bathing rite of the Buddha image in observance of the Songkran Festival. The event, held under the theme "Once in a Lifetime Experience: Songkran in Thailand," aimed to promote Thai cultural heritage and traditions.
