Enjoy Summer at Riverbend Park

Riverbend Park is located at 9060 Indiantown Road, Jupiter. For more information, visit www.pbcnature.com. All programs are by online reservation only, unless otherwise stated. Please register online at www.pbcparks.com under "Online Services." Click Register/Pay for Program or visit the office to register and pay. All participants are required to sign a Program Participation Form before each program. All children must be accompanied by an adult. All programs run for approximately 90 minutes, depending on participants' experience level. Please bring drinking water, sunscreen, and insect repellent to each program. Activities promote environmental and historical awareness, conservation, and recreation, and educate the community on health and wellness.

NATURALIST WALKS
Thursdays, 1 p.m.
All ages, FREE (Reservations required)
Join naturalists each week for a one-hour guided walk exploring the trails of Riverbend Park. It's a great way to become familiar with the park's plant and animal communities and trails. Call 561-741-1359 to reserve a spot.

REPTILE ENCOUNTERS
Wednesdays, 2:30 p.m.
All ages, FREE (Reservations not required)

RIVERBEND PARK VISITS THE TEQUESTA BRANCH LIBRARY: FLUTTER & FLORA: CREATING YOUR OWN NATIVE BUTTERFLY GARDEN

Join Riverbend Park at the Tequesta Library for a fun, hands-on adventure into the world of butterflies and pollinators! Learn how to turn your backyard into a colorful garden that helps Florida's wildlife. OPEN RANGE ARCHERY

This program is offered to participants who attended and successfully completed a basic archery course at Riverbend Park.
Join USA Archery-certified staff to hone your archery skills! Participants will shoot at different targets, and a basic safety review will be conducted before heading to the range. Equipment is provided. Note: Bows may be difficult to pull for smaller children. Call 561-741-1359 to reserve a spot.

THE SECRET LIFE OF SNAKES

All ages, $5/participant (Reservations required)
Come slither into learning with us this World Snake Day at Riverbend Park! Discover the fascinating world of snakes through this fun and educational program featuring live snake ambassadors, incredible snake facts and a closer look at the important role snakes play in our ecosystems. Learn the differences between venomous and nonvenomous snakes and meet some of Florida's amazing native species up close.

ARCHERY 101

Join USA Archery-certified staff to learn a new skill! This exciting program teaches archery safety and how to properly use the equipment before getting to practice on the range. Equipment is provided. Note: Bows may be difficult to pull for smaller children.

MOTH NIGHT HIKE

Ages 8+, $5/participant (Reservations required)
Step into the hidden world of nocturnal insects on this guided evening hike. As twilight fades, we'll explore quiet trails and use light traps to attract a dazzling variety of moths. Learn about their unique behaviors, fascinating adaptations, and the vital roles they play in our ecosystems, all beneath the stars. Good walking shoes, water, a flashlight and bug spray are recommended.
