Unofficial tallies for City Council - early ballots only
There are two open seats for Councilmember. The two candidates receiving the highest number of votes will be elected to the Tempe City Council. Ballots are still being counted. Final unofficial results will be released as received from Maricopa County Elections later in the week at Results.Maricopa.Vote and tempe.gov/election.
Results are listed in alphabetical order by candidate name:
Jennifer Adams - 8,610 votes (21.9%)
Berdetta Hodge - 9,369 votes (23.83%)
Bobby Nichols - 9,938 votes (25.28%)
Brooke St. George - 11,402 votes (29%)
A total of 21,582 ballots have been tallied so far, with a 25.93% turnout.
Results are posted at Results.Maricopa.Vote and are updated daily until all ballots have been processed and tabulated.
The canvass of the vote, which is the City Council's official acceptance of the results, has been tentatively scheduled for the June 4 Regular Council Meeting. The elected Councilmembers will take the oath of office during the July 1 Regular Council meeting.
