UW-Oshkosh alumni Class Notes: August 2026

'76 Dave Wilfert, of Two Rivers, owns and operates Wilfert Farms, a vegetable farm focused on providing fresh, high-quality produce to the community for the past 35 years.

'87 Scott Henke, of Hartford, is the Washington County Treasurer. '17 Grant Henke, of Hartford, is Scott's son.

'87 Jamie Pollard, of Ames, Iowa, the longest tenured director of athletics in Iowa State History, announced his retirement from Iowa State University effective June, 2027. Pollard has a 22-year career leading Cyclone's intercollegiate athletics program.

'97, '12 (MBA) Tammy (Kraus) Pitts, of Eldorado, is the senior vice president of human resources for National Exchange Bank. Pitts brings 25 years of human resource experience to her role.

'97, '01 (MS) Kelly Schweiner, of Oshkosh, has been a physical education teacher in the Oshkosh Area School District for 29 years. Schweiner's daughter, '19, '23 (DNP) Ashley (Morales) Ottman, of Winneconne, is also a UWO alumna.

'97 Eddie Zelhofer, of Oshkosh, is the Waupaca Boatride Tournament director. The tournament is one of the largest grass volleyball events in the world and brings thousands of players to northeast Wisconsin annually.

'00 Nicolas Thompson, of Janesville, after serving as a UW-Whitewater police officer, has transitioned into a new role as an academic advisor and success coach with the UW-W College of Integrated Studies.

'08 Brian Shew, of West Allis, is a learning and development specialist at Godfrey & Kahn, S.C. Shew's sister, mother and two of his mother's siblings are all UWO alumni.

'12 (MS) Justin Stigler, of Rosendale, is Ripon High School's new head football coach. Stigler has spent the last nine football seasons coaching at Laconia High School and previously coached at Division III colleges including UWO.

'15 Alex Warner, of Oshkosh, is a police officer with the Ripon Police Department. Warner previously was an officer with the Waupun Police Department and pursued specialized training in traffic enforcement and impaired-driving investigations. He is also a field training officer and part of the Dodge County Mobile Field Force.

'18 Taylor Carpenter, of Wichita, Kansas, is an athletic trainer with the Wichita Wind Surge, a Double-A affiliate of the Minnesota Twins.

'20 Bridget Sibilsky, of Middleton, is a cytogenic technologist in the Disease Prevention Division at the Wisconsin State Laboratory of Hygiene.

'25 Dylan Eckhart, of Bristol, is the sports director at WAOW-TV in Wausau. Eckhart was the sports director at UWO's WRST campus radio station and called numerous games for Titan Athletics.

'25 Erin Geraghty, of Washburn, recently joined the National Guard and hopes to use her UWO degree to commission as an officer in the U.S. Army.
