The Tampa Convention Center is proud to welcome back Varsity Spirit for end-of-season cheerleading competitions! The center will host The Youth Summit, The Recreational Summit, and The Varsity All Star Celebration April 24-27, 2025.

Drivers should expect extra vehicle and pedestrian traffic around the Tampa Convention Center on these dates, including along Franklin Street outside the venue. Traffic demand will peak on Thursday, April 24 and Saturday, April 26.

Tampa Police will be stationed at nearby crosswalks to assist with traffic flow. Drivers are encouraged to be patient and avoid the area if possible.

Varsity Spirit cheerleading competitions bring in thousands of young athletes from all over the country to Downtown Tampa. This year's events are set to hit record attendance numbers.

These events will have an estimated economic impact of $3,423,000 on the Tampa region, according to Visit Tampa Bay.
