2025 Business Workshops

The Fontana Economic Development Department is providing a series of FREE workshops designed to empower the Fontana business community, equipping them with the knowledge and skills for success. Participants will have the opportunity to receive one-on-one assistance to apply for the Fontana Empowerment Loan Fund.

• February 5 - Starting a Business - Are you ready to own a business? This workshop will touch on building a business plan, marketing and what funding a business looks like. Register
• February 18 - Growing a Business - During this workshop, we will cover cashflow, business budgeting, and forecast financing options. Register
• March 5 - Building Business Credit - After the detailed content of what is business credit there will be a review of 4 major topics you can not miss. Register
• March 19, 6 C's of Credit -The factors that truly influence your scores are best known as the five C's of credit. We've added a sixth that is just as important as the other 5. Register
• April 2 - Accessing Capital 101 & 102 - This workshop is about the factors that impact the ability to access capital as a business owner. This includes information that business owners should know when seeking access to capital as well as how to improve your odds of approval. Register
• April 16 - Commercial Real Estate - This workshop will review critical concepts to consider for purchasing commercial real estate. In addition, there will be a step-by-step guided tour through the commercial real estate road map. Register
• April 30 - Social Media Basics - The purpose of this workshop is to demonstrate how to best create content for your channels. Plus, learn how to make an executive bio. Register
• May 7 - Cashflow Management - This workshop is about managing cashflow and how to track cashflow with financial statements. Register
