Monmouth Medical Center's Chief of Pediatric Surgery Dr. Mark McCollum has been named Physician of the Month for January. Presenting the award is MMC's Chief Medical Officer Dr. Kenneth Granet. They were joined for the presentation by leadership and team members from the Departments of Surgery and Pediatrics and hospital leadership.
Long Branch, NJ, January 21, 2026 - Pediatric Surgeon Mark McCollum, M.D., has been named Monmouth Medical Center's (MMC) Physician of the Month for January. An RWJBarnabas Health Medical Group physician who serves as MMC's Chief of Pediatric Surgery, Dr. McCollum was praised for his kindness, dedication and everyday impact, as well as his remarkable ability to put patients and their parents at ease.
